Physician Point of Care Testing Competencies

Competencies have been developed to ensure the quality and effectiveness of clinical laboratory testing and to promote improved health care outcomes. The laboratory competencies assess judgment and interpretive skills and measure the effectiveness of staff training at the point of care or in the laboratory.
