Use: | The concentration of IGFBP-1 is correlated with glycemic conditions. IGFBP-1 may be used for monitoring insulin responsiveness, as a marker for insulin-producing tumors, monitoring acute fluctuations in insulin action, and determining if poor glycemic control is due to inadequate insulin treatment or poor control of dietary intake. |
