Test Includes:Titration of clinically significant red cell antibodies for OB patients and ABO antibodies for organ transplant patients. Identification of antibody may be required prior to performing titer. Additional charges will occur if antibody identification is indicated.

Interpretive

Use:Diagnose hemolytic disease of the newborn due to red blood cell incompatibility during the course of a pregnancy. Determine strength of Anti-A and/or Anti-B antibodies as part of the solid organ transplant workup.
