Optimal Volume:2 mL
Container:Gray (sodium fluoride + potassium oxalate)
Collection Instructions:Tubes should be filled to prevent loss of volatile compound into headspace.
Contraindications:Not in NaF/oxalate tube.

Processing and Shipping

Specimen Processing:Do not process. Whole blood.
Shipping Instructions:Room temperature is acceptable for shipping and/or short-term storage (up to 3 days); specimen may also be refrigerated.
