Collection Instructions

Specimen:Blood
Optimal Volume:4 mL
Minimum\Peds Volume:2.2 mL
Causes for Rejection:Plasma or non-frozen specimens.
Contraindications:Patient receiving Fluconazole or Ketoconazole simultaneously will interfere with assay.


Processing and Shipping

Specimen Processing:Centrifuge and aliquot 2 mL, 1 mL minimum. Store in freezer.
Shipping Instructions:Ship on dry ice.
