Interpretive

Reference Range:
Less than 0.10 kU(a)/L No significant level detected.
F76 and F77:  0.10 kU(a)/L or greater Susceptible to heat denaturation, higher risk of
reaction to fresh milk, lower reaction to baked milk, patient likely to "outgrow" milk allergy
F78:  0.10 kU(a)/L or greater Resistant to heat denaturation, higher risk to all forms of milk,
patient likely to "outgrow" milk allergy with high levels of
specific IgE to casein
   
Use:Detection of possible allergic responses to milk components and the risk for systemic reaction.
