Specimen Processing:Centrifuge and aliquot within 2 hours of collection, 1.5 mL, 0.9 mL minimum. Store in refrigerator.

Reference Range:

Phosphatidic Acid Antibodies, IgG, IgM and IgA

0-11 U/mL – Normal

12-18 U/mL – Equivocal. Suggest repeat testing in 4-6 weeks or consider antibody testing for cardiolipin IgG and IgM, beta-2 glycoprotein 1 IgG and IgM and lupus anticoagulant

19 U/ mL or greater - Positive

Phosphatidylcholine Antibodies, IgG, IgM and IgA

0-11 U/mL – Normal

12-18 U/mL – Equivocal. Suggest repeat testing in 4-6 weeks or consider antibody testing for cardiolipin IgG and IgM, beta-2 glycoprotein 1 IgG and IgM and lupus anticoagulant

19 U/ mL or greater - Positive

Phosphatidylethanolamine Antibodies, IgG, IgM and IgA

0-11 U/mL – Normal
