Causes for Rejection:Plasma or serum. Specimens collected in sodium heparin or lithium heparin.

Shipping Instructions:Ship at refrigerated temperature.
Stability:72 hours at room temperature; 1 week refrigerated; 1 month frozen.

Interpretive

Reference Range:By report.
Use:Genotype test to assess risk, due to genetics, for severe myelosuppression with standard dosing of thiopurine drugs. Use for individuals being considered for thiopurine therapy or who have had an adverse reaction to thiopurine therapy.
