Specimen:Urine and blood
Optimal Volume:2 mL blood and 14 mL urine
Minimum\Peds Volume:1.2 mL blood and 5.5 mL urine
Container:Red or gold (gel), Plastic leakproof container, sterile
Alternate Containers: Red (no gel), Plastic leakproof container, sterile
Collection Instructions:Both serum and urine are required for testing.

Processing and Shipping

Specimen Processing:Centrifuge and aliquot 1 mL, 0.5 mL minimum. Aliquot 14 mL, 5.5mL urine. Indicate specimen type on each sample. Store frozen.
Shipping Instructions:Ship frozen.
