Collection Instructions: | Sterile techniques should be used; placenta should accompany all fetuses. For additional information, refer to intranet policies and procedures. Submit in sterile container or wrappings without fixative. When transport to lab is delayed, sterile saline may be used to avoid drying. Keep refrigerated. |
