| Collection Instructions: | Immediately mix specimen 10 times by gentle inversion. |
| Causes for Rejection: | Clotted, frozen, or centrifuged specimens.
Additionally, certain parameter(s) may also be rejected due to platelet clumping, fibrin strands, cold agglutinins, hemolysis, icterus, and/or lipemia. |
