Interpretive

Reference Range:
Granulocytes % Positive
CD11a 97-100
CD11b 96-100
CD15 95-100
CD18 99-100

Use:The Leukocyte Adhesion Deficiency Panel measures the receptors of CD11a, CD11b, CD15 and CD18 normally found on neutrophils. The percentage of patient neutrophils bearing these reeptors  is reported. Decreased values outside of the reference interval may correlate with abnormal netrophil function. For example, CD11 and CD18 are decreased or absent in Leukocyte Adhesion Deficiency (LAD) type I and CD15 is decreased or absent in LAD type II.
