| Container: | Container, Tissue, sterile |
| Collection Instructions: | Tissue must be placed on wet ice immediately after specimen collection. |
| Contraindications: | Stool and fluid washings are not acceptable specimens. |
Processing and Shipping
| Specimen Processing: | Do not store. |
| Shipping Instructions: | Ship on wet ice. Optimal: Transport tissue on wet ice to arrive to lab within 3 hours. If received >3 hours, tissue will be processed with disclaimer. Must arrive within 24 hours. |
