Processing and Shipping

Specimen Processing:Separate from cells within 45 minutes. Centrifuge and aliquot 1 mL, 0.5 mL minimum. Store in freezer.
Test is not performed at ARUP; separate specimens must be submitted when multiple tests are ordered.
Shipping Instructions:Ship on dry ice.
Stability:Stability from collection to initiation of testing: 24 hours at room temperature; 48 hours refrigerated; 6 months frozen.
