Collection Instructions
| Specimen: | Direct swab from open wound. |

| Collection Instructions: | Required supplies: SurePath pap vial and collection brush. Label vial with the patient label. Gently scrape the area of abnormality. If the abnormality is a vesicle, remove the covering and scrape both at the base of the vesicle and around the rim. Disconnect brush tip and put in vial. |
