Collection Instructions:Immediately mix specimen 10 times by gentle inversion.
Causes for Rejection:Clotted, lipemic or hemolyzed specimen.


Processing and Shipping

Specimen Processing:Do not process.
Shipping Instructions:Ship at refrigerated temperature. Specimen must arrive to the laboratory within 12 hours of collection for testing to be completed within the 12 hour stability window.
Stability:8 hours at room temperature; 12 hours refrgierated.
