Turnaround Time:Specimens are sent to reference laboratory Mon-Thur. Results are reported within 4-6 weeks.
Special Instructions:Collect specimen using a specific Hunter Syndrome kit from Covance/Shire labs with a unique bar code. A completely filled out requisition must be sent with each sample.

Collection Instructions:Samples collected for routine Anti-Drug Antibody (ADA) testing should be collected prior to enzyme infusion. If specimen is being drawn due to infusion reaction, please wait 4-24 hours post-infusion.

Processing and Shipping

Specimen Processing:Keep upright and allow to clot for 60 minutes. Centrifuge and aliquot 3 mL (0.5 mL minimum) into cryovial and label with barcode to match barcode on requisition. Freeze immediately. Store in freezer.
Shipping Instructions:Ship frozen.
