Monomeric Prolactin
Monomeric Prolactin Percent: Greater than 50% If the % Monomeric Prolactin is 40-50%, then the result is indeterminate for macroprolactin. If the % Monomeric Prolactin is less than 40%, then this indicates the present of macroprolactin. A Monomeric Prolactin result above the upper reference limit is consistent with hyperprolactinemia.
Reference ranges for patients under one year of age are not provided by the reference laboratory.
