Optimal Volume:2 mL
Minimum\Peds Volume:1.2 mL
Container:Red (no gel)
Causes for Rejection:Thawed samples. Samples stored at -20°C. Gel barrier tubes are not acceptable.

Processing and Shipping

Specimen Processing:Allow specimen to clot at room temperature for 20-60 minutes. Centrifuge and aliquot 1 mL, 0.5 mL minimum within 2 hours of collection or ASAP. Store on dry ice or at -70°C.
Shipping Instructions:Ship overnight on dry ice.
Stability:1 year frozen at -70°C.
