| Collection Instructions: | Specimens must be collected after 10:00 am on Wednesday and received in East Bank Core Lab by 1400. Do not collect the Wednesday before a holiday. |
| Patient Preparation: | Patients should not be on immunosuppressive medications such as steroids or calcineurin inhibitors. |
| Causes for Rejection: | Specimens greater than 24 hours old. Refrigerated, frozen, hemolyzed, clotted or centrifuged specimens. Specimens in the wrong anticoagulant. |
