Collection Instructions: | Tissue or fluid placed in a sterile container. Also acceptable: Formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissues (FFPE, PET); non-blood body fluids collected in Vacutainer tubes without preservative; EDTA tubes. E-swabs and UTM (Universal Transport medium) are acceptable for BCTPCR testing and ENBDNA testing, but not NGS testing. |
Causes for Rejection: | Tissues free-floating in formalin; samples containing citrate, or heparin; Blood/Serum specimens; swab/fluid collected in tube containing agar. SPS not acceptable for NGS testing. |
