Processing and Shipping
| Specimen Processing: | Centrifuge whole blood within 2 hours of collection and discard plasma. Leave 2 mL, 0.6 minimum, RBC's in the original container and replace stopper. Store at room temperature or refrigerated. Alternatively transfer 2 mL RBCs itno an ARUP Trace Element-Free Transport Tube. |
