| Causes for Rejection: | Whole blood frozen, refrigerated, clotted or received in transfer tube. Specimen will be rejected if greater than 30 hours old. Specimen type other than heparinized whole blood collected in sodium heparin tube. |

| Shipping Instructions: | Ship overnight at room temperature to arrive within 30 hours of collection. Specimen should be shipped in Viracor-IBT box to protect from temperature extremes. Ship via FedEx with third party billing. Specimens collected on Friday must be marked for Saturday delivery. |
