Alternate Containers: Purple (EDTA) on ICE
Causes for Rejection:Gross hemolysis or lipemia. Collected in a gel tube.

Processing and Shipping

Specimen Processing:Centrifuge and aliquot 0.5 mL, 0.2 mL minimum. Store frozen (preferred).
Shipping Instructions:Ship on dry ice.
Stability:Stability: 7 days - room temperature; 21 days - refrigerated; 60 days - frozen.
