Processing and Shipping

Specimen Processing:Centrifuge and aliquot 1.25 mL, 0.1 mL minimum. Store in refrigerator.
Shipping Instructions:Ship at refrigerated temperature.
Stability:Serum/plasma should be separated from the cells within 2 hours to avoid falsely high PO4. Hemolyzed specimens are unacceptable unless analyzed immediately. Stability: Refrigerated - 7 days; frozen - 6 months.
