Optimal Volume:11 mL
Minimum\Peds Volume:7.1 mL
Container:Blue Na Citrate, 3.2% - fill to fill line on tube, Purple (EDTA), Red (no gel)
Collection Instructions:Testing requires 3 sample types: Red (no gel), purple (EDTA) and blue (sodium citrate). Collect 4 mL; 2.2 mL minimum each in the red (no gel) and purple (EDTA) and 2.7 mL in a 3 mL blue (sodium citrate) tube.

Processing and Shipping

Use:TMA Panel testing is recommended for patients with TMAs include HUS, aHUS, and TTP. This testing is also appropriate for patients with other complement-mediated renal diseases such as C3 Glomerulonephritis and Membranoproliferative Glomerulonephritis as 6 of the genes on the panel and MLPA testing have been associated with these diseases.
