Specimen Processing: | Centrifuge whole blood within 2 hours of collection or ASAP. Remove and discard plasma, and send 1 mL, 0.4 mL minimum red blood cells (RBC) in the original container. Test is not performed at ARUP; separate specimens must be submitted when multiple tests are ordered. Store in refrigerator. |
