Causes for Rejection:Specimens containing preservatives or heparin. Room temperature or refrigerated specimens.


Processing and Shipping

Specimen Processing:Aliquot 0.5 mL, 0.15 mL minimum, into an ARUP aliquot tube. Freeze immediately.
Shipping Instructions:Ship on dry ice.
Stability:1 year frozen (3 freeze/thaw cycles are acceptable). Room temperature and refrigerated specimens are not acceptable.
