Container:Red (no gel)
Causes for Rejection:Collected in gel tubes; gross hemolysis; gross lipemia, gross icterus.


Processing and Shipping

Specimen Processing:Centrifuge and separate within 2 hours. Aliquot 3 mL, 1.1 mL minimum. Immediately store in refrigerator.
Stability:14 days refrigerated (preferred) or frozen; 3 hours at room temperature.
