Interpretive

Reference Range:
≤0.90 IV Negative: No significant amount of IgG/IgM/IgA
antibodies to L. pneumophila detected.
0.91-1.09 IV Equivocal: Recommend repeat testing in 1-3
weeks with fresh sample.
≥1,10 IV Positive: IgG/IgM/IgA antibodies specific to L. pneumophila
suggesting current or prior infection. A positive result cannot
distinguish between previous or active infection, therefore
this result alone cannot be used to establish diagnosis.

Use:May aid in the diagnosis of legionellosis caused by infection with L. pneumophila.
