ADAMTS13 Activity and Inhibitor Profile

Abbrev Code:ADM13
Order Code:LAB8297Order Name:ADAMTS13 Activity and Inhibitor Profile
Methodology:Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer (FRET)
CPT Codes: 85397 x1, 85335 x1, 85335 x1
Test Includes:Testing begins with the ADAMTS-13 activity assay to evaluate the percent activity. If the ADAMTS-13 activity is less than 30%, an inhibitor screen will be performed to look for specific ADAMTS-13 inhibition.
Turnaround Time:Specimens sent to reference laboratory Monday-Friday; reported within 2-4 days.
