Interpretive
Use: | Next Generation Sequencing of DNA to assess for somatic mutations in the indicated gene panel. NGS Fusion panel is included for detection of translocations (including NTRK).
This panel is intended for the assessment of somatic mutations in BRCA1, BRCA2, PALB2 and other genes associated with homologous recombination DNA repair. Results from this test are indicated in the assessment of tumors for homologous recombination deficiency (HRD) to inform selection of appropriate therapy (including PARP inhibitors) and provide additional clinical information regarding response to other chemotherapeutic agents.
