| Methodology: | The FilmArray Warrior panel is a multiplexed nucleic acid test intended for use with the FilmArray 2.0 instrument for the simultaneous qualitative detection and identification of nucleic acids from multiple bacteria and viruses from whole blood or sputum samples obtained from individuals with signs and/or symptoms of infection who are at risk of exposure or may have been exposed to these agents. The follow bacteria and viruses are identified using the FilmArray Warrior Panel:

| Specimen: | Whole blood, Sputum |
| Optimal Volume: | 4mL of fresh whole blood collected in an evacuated EDTA tube (Purple top) or 3 mL of Sputum. |
| Minimum\Peds Volume: | 1mL of whole blood or 1 mL of sputum. |
| Container: | Purple (EDTA) Alternate Containers: Plastic leakproof container, sterile |

Processing and Shipping
| Shipping Instructions: | Follow category A shipping instructions. |
| Stability: | Samples can be stored at room temperature for up to 24 hours. They can also be refriggerated between 0-5°C for further testing by RT-PCR. Store at -70 °C for longterm storage, and ship on dry ice if the specimen is referred to a WHO Collaborating Centre. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles. |
