Processing and Shipping

Specimen Processing:Separate serum from cells ASAP. Centrifuge and aliquot 0.5 mL, 0.15 mL minimum. Store in refrigerator.
Shipping Instructions:Ship at refrigerated temperature.
Stability:48 hours at room temperature; 2 weeks refrigerated; 6 months frozen.

0.88 EV or less Negative - No significant level of detectable Candida alibicans antibody
0.89-0.99 EV Equivocal - Questionable presence of antibodies. Repeat testing in 10-14 days may be helpful.
1.00 EV or greater Positive - Antibody to Candida albicans detected, which may indicate a current or past infection

Candida Antibody IgM
0.88 EV or less Negative - No significant level of detectable Candida alibicans antibody
0.89-0.99 EV Equivocal - Questionable presence of antibodies. Repeat testing in 10-14 days may be helpful.
