Collection Instructions: | Pause and clamp drip for 15 minutes prior to obtaining level. Document stop/start time on MAR.
Usual sampling time is immediately prior to next dose. Analysis should be performed on trough samples (collected no sooner than 2 hours before the dose) unless a kinetic study is ordered. |
Causes for Rejection: | Collection in gel container; clotted specimen. |
