Specimen: | Paraffin block preferred; tissue sections mounted on charged slides are also accepted. For limited consult send appropriate H&E slide also. |

Processing and Shipping

Stability: | Requests from external customers for stain(s) and/or stain interpretation(s) should be sent to Histology on the West Bank campus within 1-2 hours of receipt in laboratory. Requests from external customers for pathology consultation should be sent to the Surgical Pathology office on the East Bank campus. |
