Specimen:Paraffin block preferred; alcohol fixed cytology slides or tissue sections mounted on silane slides accepted.

Processing and Shipping

Specimen Processing:Store paraffin block or fixed slides at room temperature. Store fresh tissue in refrigerator.
Shipping Instructions:Ship paraffin block or fixed slides at room temperature. Ship fresh tissue at refrigerated temperature to arrive within 24 hours.

Reference Range:Limited consult provided by pathologist.
