Collection Instructions:Use a non-alcohol germicidal solution to cleanse the skin. The collection tube should be completely filled and kept tightly stoppered at all times.


Processing and Shipping

Specimen Processing:Do not remove stopper. Centrifuge and store in refrigerator.
Shipping Instructions:Ship at refrigerated temperature.
Stability:If ETOH is ordered on the same collection tube with VSCN, remove stopper, aliquot quickly, and stopper tube tightly. Comment that tube has been opened on the request form.
