Collection Instructions

Specimen:Urine, random collection
Optimal Volume:Submit entire collection; analysis requires 1 mL
Container:Plastic leakproof container, sterile (Plastic leakproof container, sterile)
Collection Instructions:Deliver to the laboratory within 1 hour. Specimen of choice is a first morning, mid-stream,clean catch urine. Refrigerate the urine if it cannot be delivered immediately.


Processing and Shipping

Specimen Processing:Do not store. Submit entire collection. 
Shipping Instructions:Ship at refrigerated temperature. Must arrive within 2 hours room temperature; 24 hours refrigerated.
